Clinical Toxicology (until 2005, Journal of Toxicology: Clinical Toxicology) is a journal of primary interest to practicing clinical toxicologists, whether based in hospitals, poison control centers, academia, government or industry. The journal is relevant to all professionals at the interface of clinical toxicology with acute care, occupational and environmental medicine, public health, regulatory toxicology, pharmacology and pharmaceutics, and analytical and forensic pathology.

The journal covers unique case reports and clinical histories which are valuable for emergency room physicians and EMS professionals, and articles on poison center issues and management.

Editor-in-chief

Nicholas Bateman is the Editor-in-Chief of Clinical Toxicology.[1] Bateman is Medical Director of the Scottish Poisons Information Bureau and Consultant Physician at Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh[2] and Professor of Clinical Toxicology at the University of Edinburgh, UK.[3]
